YAKER Topical Medication Application Video

Product Overview

Each order includes three 60ml bottles, providing an entire 90-day supply. When used as directed, each bottle lasts one month. Plus, they’re TSA-approved, making travel hassle-free.

You can use this medication at any time of the day. It is okay to adjust the timing as needed.

Instructions for use

Step 1: Preparation

  • Before applying this topical medication, ensure your hair and scalp are completely dry. You don’t have to have a clean scalp immediately before cleaning; however, the longer you go without washing, the more dirt, oil, and hair products (if used) will mix with the topical medication, creating more residue once it dries. If you wash your hair before applying it, you may towel dry or blow-dry it first
  • Next, remove the black cap and replace it with the blue cap provided. Store the black cap, as it will be needed when you travel. I recommend placing the bottle in the provided plastic zipper pouch for travel to prevent any potential leaks from soaking your personal items

Step 2: Application

  • The medication will be applied along three vertical rows on your scalp: one row starting over your left eye, one between your eyes, and one over your right eye
  • First, insert the syringe into the top of the blue cap
  • Next, turn the bottle to its side and pull the syringe to 0.67ml (or 13ml as some syringes have two sides). If filling up the syringe to 0.67ml, the total amount filling three syringes will equal 2ml (0.67ml x 3 rows). We recommend using a marker to label the dosage (0.67 mL) for easy identification
  • Then, with a finger or a comb, make a part line and press the tip of the syringe onto your scalp, starting either at your crown or your hairline. Slowly release the liquid along the vertical row
  • Then, with a finger or a comb, part your hair over your left eye, from your hairline to crown, to expose the scalp, and press the tip of the syringe onto your scalp, starting either at your crown or your hairline. Slowly release the liquid along the vertical row
  • Using the hand not holding the syringe, rub the solution back and forth several times using your entire hand and palm, not fingertips, working your way through the hair and onto the scalp
  • If you do not rub the scalp enough or only use the fat pads of your fingers and not the whole hand, more of the product will dry on the hair, leaving more residue once it dries
  • Repeat for Other Rows: Repeat the process for:
    • Middle section of your scalp: Part your hair over the middle of your scalp.
    • Right section of your scalp: Part your hair over your right eye.

After you’ve rubbed in all three vertical rows several times back and forth with your hands, use a brush or comb to slick your hair back to remove any extra solution not absorbed by your scalp.

  • Immediately wash your hands after using this medicine and let the solution air dry
  • The medication will dry within 30 minutes and requires 3 to 4 hours to take effect on the scalp
  • DO NOT use a hairdryer to dry the scalp after you apply. If you want to add volume to your hair AFTER the solution has dried, you may use a hairdryer on a low heat setting, but try to avoid the scalp as much as possible. Once dry, you may use hair products, but avoid applying them directly onto the scalp
  • While most patients use this medication in the evening or just before bedtime, you may use it anytime. For best results, allow it to stay on the scalp for about 3-4 hours before washing, swimming, or sweating (exercise). This does not mean you must wash your hair once 3-4 hours have passed. You may wash your hair when you usually do, as long as it’s after 3-4 hours

Important Guidelines

  • Store the topical medication in a dry place at room temperature and protect it from direct sunlight. It is perfectly fine to keep it on your bathroom counter
  • This medication is designed not only to treat existing problem areas but also to help prevent or slow down future hair thinning. It should be applied consistently across the scalp rather than used as a spot treatment for specific areas
  • Use only the recommended amount. Using more won’t speed up or improve results
  • For morning use, the dried solution can help style your hair. Brush your hair into place after the medication is applied
  • For evening use, please wait 30-45 minutes for the medication to dry before lying down
  • Please do not use a hairdryer after applying the solution, as it may cause the medication to evaporate
  • Avoid washing, swimming, or sweating for 3-4 hours after application
  • Like all hair products and topical medications, only a portion of this solution is absorbed into the scalp, while the rest dries on the hair, potentially leaving a light white residue. To prevent buildup, it’s important to wash your scalp every 1-2 days. Going without washing for extended periods can accumulate dirt, oil, sweat, dead skin cells, and hair products, which can clog hair follicles. This buildup may also reduce the medication’s ability to penetrate the scalp effectively, impacting its performance
  • Since the topical medication is preservative-free, each bottle has an expiration date. The medication will generally remain active for up to 30 days after the expiration date. After that, degradation data proves that the active ingredients slowly inactivate and will no longer work to help slow down, stop, and/or re-thicken your thinning hair
  • Like all medications, proper compliance is needed for it to work effectively. This medication must be used at least 80% of the time to be effective. To be compliant, your 3-month supply should be refilled within four months
